Our Story
The wallet your father carried, made again.
Chapter I
The wallet that stayed
My father had a wallet.
He bought it when he started working, from a small shop in the neighborhood, and he carried it every day for as long as I can remember. It had no logo. No label worth noticing. Over the years it went soft and dark and took the shape of his pocket, the way a good thing does.
It outlasted my first job. It outlasted every wallet I ever bought.
“It had no logo. It outlasted everything.”
Chapter II
The question
I was buying the right things, or what I thought were the right things. The ones with the names. The ones that cost more. They arrived beautiful and left quietly: a crack at the corner, a seam that gave way, a finish that peeled. Every few years, the same small ritual. Buy another one.
Somewhere in that loop, I stopped asking which wallet to buy and started asking a better question. Why did his last, and mine didn't?
“Why did his last, and mine didn't?”

Chapter III
The answer
It wasn't a brand. It was nothing at all.
No logo to pay for. Just good leather, simple construction, and a thing made to be used. His wallet wasn't built to be noticed. It was built to stay.
“It wasn't built to be noticed. It was built to stay.”
Chapter IV
Tannix
Tannix is that idea, made again.
Minimal leather goods in top grain leather, handcrafted to endure. No loud logos. No ornament. Pieces that don't announce themselves. They simply stay, and with every month they soften and settle in until they feel like yours.
We believe the right wallet should be the last one you buy for a very long time.
“Built for decades. Not seasons.”
