Caring for Leather
A short guide to keeping a good piece for decades.
Leather asks for very little. Keep it away from prolonged heat and standing water. If it gets wet, let it dry slowly at room temperature, never near a radiator.
Once or twice a year, a small amount of neutral conditioner, worked in with a soft cloth, will keep the fibres supple.
Above all, use it. Leather is meant to be handled; the oils from your hands are part of how it ages well.
